今回は修了展で出展した作品を紹介します。
タイトルは「火を纏う」です。
私の作品は火を使う事で生まれる表面のテクスチャーや合金を利用して造形しています。
火は人間しか扱う事の出来ない特別な道具で、私たちに明るさ（光）と暖かさ（熱）を与えてくれました。そして人々の暮らしを豊かにする為、様々なものを作り出すエネルギーとなったり、魔除けや祈祷、儀式の一部としても扱われます。私はこのような神聖な火の持つエネルギーを装身具という形で表現し、見に着ける事で明るさや暖かさのありがたみを再度感じてもらいたいという願いを込めました。
このジュエリーが人々の集まる「火」の様な温かい存在になる事を祈っています。
The title is "Wearing Fire."
I create works with alloy and texture of its surface which is produced by fire.
Fire is a special tool that only human can use, and it gives us light and warmth.
Fire also enriches people's life, and it could be an energy source to create something. Some people treat fire as a part of magic, amulets and ceremonies.
I represented a holy energy of fire as accessories, and I want people reconfirm the value of light and warmth by wearing these works.
I hope this jewelry's existence would be as warm as "fire" as people gather around it.
